Martin Automatic to premiere space saving splicer at Labelexpo Americas 2018

Martin's MBS automatic splicer with right angle turnbar occupies only 65 inches of a press line (17 inch web width).
Martin Automatic will be exhibiting at Labelexpo Americas 2018 at booth 811. For the first time at Labelexpo, the company will run a space saving non-stop roll changer with the shortest inline footprint available. The streamlined design is made possible by its integrated 90 degree turnbar that makes this splicer the perfect choice for label printers who are very tight on space but still want the reliable performance and increased production that an MBS automatic splicer provides. Martin will run an LRD automatic transfer rewinder in conjunction with the splicer to demonstrate continuous operation. The MBS splicer has been sold to medication packaging provider, Omnicell. The LRD rewinder will be installed on a Gallus press at a long time Martin customer in Asia. "Based on the level of interest and orders we have received for the MBS with the integrated 90 degree turnbar within the last six months , we are anticipating a very busy booth this year." says Gavin Rittmeyer, VP of Sales/Marketing for Martin Automatic.
