We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
Field Service Technician
Field Service Technicians install, troubleshoot and repair Martin Automatic machinery in facilities around the world. This includes installing machines, alignment with other equipment and completing electrical and pneumatic connections. Operator and maintenance personnel are also trained by Field Service Technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Certificate from a relevant technical program such as Mechatronics is a plus
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Understanding of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Ability to problem solve
Basic math skills and proficient computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn
Comfortable working alone or with groups to install or repair equipment and provide training
Travel in North America with occasional trips worldwide
Social skill to interact with customers at all levels
Experience with various hand, power, and measuring tools
Physically able to safely work long hours in production environments
Troubleshoot systems involving PLCs, AC and DC circuits, motors, drives, sensors and more
PAY RANGE: $50K to $55K/yr
LATHE MACHINIST, 5+ years experience
Set-up and operate Lathe Machines according to drawing specifications and needed operations. Select the appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, feeds and speeds to safely and accurately machine various materials. Perform in-process inspections of workpieces as needed to meet quality expectations. Clean and de-burr finished parts.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Understanding of manual lathe machine operations
Understanding of dimension tolerancing, GD&T, and surface textures
Good knowledge of tooling, cutters, and inserts as well as feeds and speeds for various materials such as steel, aluminum, brass, and plastics
Basic math and computer skills
Good communication skills
Use various hand tools and measuring and inspection tools (wrenches, tape measures, scales, calipers, micrometers)
Operate hand carts and jib cranes when handling and loading large parts
Lifting up to 44 pounds
Follow safety protocols and guidelines
PAY RANGE: $22 to $30/hr
LATHE and/or MILL MACHINIST, entry level
Program, set-up, and operate Lathe or Milling Machines according to drawing specifications and needed operations. Select the appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, feeds and speeds to safely and accurately machine various materials. Perform in-process inspections of workpieces as needed to meet quality expectations. Clean and de-burr finished parts.

MACHINE ASSEMBLY, entry level
Machine assemblers are tasked with building complete machines, including mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and pneumatic plumbing. They will also build sub-assemblies that are used in these machines. Most components are bolted in place using pre-drilled holes but some holes must be manually located, drilled, and tapped. Some components require the builder to accurately position them using a dial indicator and machinist's level.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Certificate from a relevant technical program such as Mechatronics is a plus
Mechanical aptitude
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Basic math and computer skills
Good communication skills
Use various hand tools, power tools, and measuring & inspection tools
Operate hand carts, fork trucks, man-lifts, and bridge cranes
Lift, push, or pull up to 44 pounds, tighten bolts at up to 120 ft-lbs
Follow safety protocols and guidelines
Physical dexterity to stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, lift, climb, etc.
PAY RANGE: $18 to $24/hr
