Overview:

Martin automatic has combined technical knowledge with ten years of experience to produce the Martin TR Shaftless Flying Transfer Winder.

The TR is another demonstration of Martin's ability to manufacture simple, effective equipment that is versatile in meeting the needs of printers and converters of a wide range of materials. The TR can be utilized as either a shafted or shaftless winder, making it ideal for quick change-over from standard winding to slitting applications. The variable web-width capability means converters can change web widths from roll to roll with no stopping to reconfigure equipment. The turret arms are infinitely and independently adjustable.

Capable of transfer speeds to 1500 FPM, the TR includes an integrated dancer to provide precise material tension to the winding roll. Additionally Martin can include an optional outfeed system following the press for greater tension accuracy.

The TR incorporates a single direction transfer unit that does not require set-up when changing web width. The transfer unit can accommodate varying core sizes including 6, 8, 10, and 12 inches via quick-change set-up, and can transfer material from film to 40 pt. board.

Pre-wired for "drop-in" installation. This feature can provide a significant advantage when considering installation cost and time.
