New Splicers For Ohio Web Offset Printers

(ROCKFORD, IL) Martin Automatic Inc announces sales and installations of new zero-speed automatic splicers at two Ohio printers.

Brimfield, OH printer The Press of Ohio recently installed Martin ECP automatic splicers on an existing Heidelberg Harris 2-web press. A long-time user of Martin splicers, the book and catalog printer has ordered another set of ECP splicers for delivery this spring, also for installation on a Heidelberg Harris press. The Martin splicers are rated for non-stop splicing of 50-inch diameter rolls at 1200 fpm.

Watkins Printing Company, a publication and commercial printer in Columbus, OH, has ordered a new Martin ECP automatic splicer for its existing Hantscho press. The new splicer is an upgrade to existing Martin splicing equipment. The ECP is rated for continuous unwinding of 50-inch diameter rolls.
